| China to Build High Speed Railways Next Year |

China will begin building high speed railways next year, which can carry trains travelling at 200 kilometers per hour or faster.
The government has approved the building of a 3,000 km length of railway, which includes 1,000 km of special passenger railways and 2,000 km of high speed railway.
The project will be finished by the end of 2020.
The 3,000 km of track includes railroads from Wuhan, the capital of central China's Hubei Province, to Guangzhou; Zhengzhou, the capital of central China's Henan Province, to Xi'an, the capital of the northwest Shaanxi Province; Beijing to Tianjin Municipality; Hefei, capital of east China's Anhui Province, to Nanjing, the capital of east China's Jiangsu Province.
