CITIC New Zealand Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of China International Trust and Investment Corporation(CITIC). In September 1996,CITIC New Zealand Limited and its partners successfully acquired Forest Corporation of New Zealand, and formed the Central North Island Forest Partnership (CNIFP). The initial investment was approx. US$1.5 BILLION. At present CITIC New Zealand Limited owns 50% of CNIFP. This is the biggest overseas investment of CITIC.
2.CNIFP forest is one of the premier plantation forests in the world covering an area of approx. 190,000 ha with the main species being Radiata Pine (87%) and Douglas Fir (10%). The forest is located in the Central North Island of New Zealand, annual production is approx. 4,000,000m3 of logs. Domestic and export sales are approximately in equal proportion.

The subsidiary of the multinational China National Metals and Minerals Import and Export Corporation (Minmetals).
In 1989, Minmetals first registered Minmetals NZ Ltd in New Zealand for the purpose of purchasing the New Zealand Steel Ltd. The deal was held up in the last second, but the company continued its investments in property, building supplies and International trade.
China Minmetals NZ Ltd was registered on November 22 1991. Now it owns three subsidiaries comprising CEMC Properties Ltd, CEMC Tile Warehouse, Triangl Nails & Fastening Ltd. The companies operations encompass residential apartments, tile retail and wholesale, and nails and fastening.
The company mainly functions as a holdings and investing entity. Nevertheless, China Minmetals NZ Ltd, like other Minmetals operations abroad is also involved in international trade as one of its major lines of business.

China Commodity Inspection Corporation (NZ) Ltd (CCICNZ) registered in New Zealand, a branch of China National Import & Export Commodity Inspection Corporation (CCIC), is an independent inspection corporation, Upon the entrustment of trading parties, it will undertake the inspection and surveying services for the import and export commodities with the status of a third party and with equitable, scientific attitude. SCOPE OF BUSINESS
This corporation is ready:

2. to survey recycling waste materials export to China, authorized by State Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (SACIQ). All recycling waste materials export to China from New Zealand must provide CIQ the preshipment inspection certificate issued by CCICNZ.
3. to supervise weight by draft, weighbridge and volume etc.
4. to appraise the stowage and the packaging design for marine transportation, dangerous cargoes, and to provide consult service thereon.
5. to appraise the cleanliness, the watertight and fitness of ship's holds and containers; to survey the damaged cargoes, to supervise he loading and unloading operation, and to provide some consult service for loss-prevention and disposal of the damaged cargoes.
6. to pursue recovery action against third parties on behalf of trading companies.
7. to provide some constancy service for the trading company who like doing business with China and invest in China.
ENTRUSTMENT:
1. Trading parties may entrust this corporation for inspection and surveying services through the following channels:

Shengli New Zealand Limited is an overseas subsidiary of Shandong Shengli Company Limited which is a well known listed company in China with fixed assets in excess of US$ 100 million. It is a national company with offices and subsidiaries in many of the main Chinese cities.
